Your diving equipment inventory

Every diver loves their gear. It's a love-hate relationship: the further you get in your diving, the more equipment you end up buying. Believe me, there's no finish line to this race.

After a few years you own dozens, sometimes hundreds, of pieces: suits, regulators, gloves, BCDs, tanks, and on it goes. A lot of it needs upkeep, and, just like your certifications, it pays to know when each piece is due for a service.

This update opens up the Equipment section. We start with a classic that gives you an immediate read on your inventory: one list, every item you own.

From there you can drill into any single item, where its full record lives, including the purchase details: what you paid, when, from whom, and how long it's been yours.

Still on the workbench

There's plenty here we haven't built yet. As with certifications, we want a photo on every item, so you can remember exactly what a piece of gear looks like (and tell which of three near-identical tanks is which).

I also can't wait to finish the Service tab, where all your servicing records will live. It turns out that's more than good housekeeping: as of May 2026, Italy's new "Legge del Mare" makes keeping a register of equipment testing and maintenance a legal requirement for diving operators (Legge 7 maggio 2026, n. 70).
